Here are little highlights of different projects done over the past few years.
FIBA U18 Americas Championship
Organized jointly with Canada Basketball and the 2021 Canada Summer Games, this event set a new quality standard for the FIBA events. Overseeing the Official Kickoff event and the Game Day experience, our contribution converted in record breaking numbers:
- Highest tournament attendance in a FIBA U18 tournament (21,000+)
- Highest single game attendance in a FIBA U18 tournament (4,200: Canada vs USA final)
- Most viewed tournament (3.7M streaming and television)
Steel Blade Classic
What is your Canadian university sport experience like? Was it record-breaking?
We are proud to have organized the 2017 Steel Blade Classic for Brock University while setting new provincial attendance records. This event was the most electric hockey game in Canada!
After working on two editions to grow a few hundred people hockey event to a 5,000 people sold-out annual event. to this day, Steel Blade Classic is the most anticipated event at Brock University by students, staff and alumni.
Spevent Agency collaborated with the Cégep André-Laurendeau Foundation to organize a fundraising event with the Montreal Canadiens Alumni. Spevent Agency surpassed the sponsorship target, and decreased the budgeted VIP hospitality costs.
This event was an ideal opportunity to use an event to enhance the relation with current sponsors and increase the sponsorship portfolio. Two of Cégep André-Laurendeau's sponsors played against idols like Guy Carbonneau. Then, Bank TD and Tim Hortons converted from an event sponsor to long-term sponsors.
Spevent uses events to generate profits and decrease costs.
